As for printing, I've only got an A4 printer myself, but one of my customers is a sign-writer and can print up to 600mm wide in-house. I got the Paul Newman one printed at just under A1 size. Works quite well :)

The rolling stones lips one is with my local gallery getting framed at the moment. That's just over A1 sized and looks fantastic. Just uses lyrics from rolling stones songs with a plain background.

as it makes it into blobs.
I am aware of rasterbator and have printed my panorama on very high gloss photographic film, but you can see the joins between some of the sheets, so I'd rather get it done properly.
