# So I should be driven away after 5 years because people
just refuse to behave in the manner that the FAQ requires of them?
Yeah, that's a perfect solution. Cheers.

# well what's the alternative?
people have been re-posting for various reasons ever since i started on here, and it's pretty much commonplace nowadays to repost for compos (granted still a big FAQ no-no) especially in cases like this one, where wildyles horses were legendary and well deserved aof another trot around the pen.

this sort of shit pisses me off more than a well crafted image being wheeled out for a re-post.

# You can repost in an existing thread and still compo it though
edit: I agree with you regarding your last point though.

# this is the attitude that is fucking things up.
" I know it's wrong but Joe Bloggs did it and I know it's not doing any harm, I don't agree with the rules anyway. One repost won't hurt".

Every new person that comes here and adopts this attitude makes the board get worse. people won't bother posting new stuff for fear of it falling of the front page whilst every new person posts shit they found on the internet.

I'll tell you what the alternative is. Stay within the guidelines, don't do things because others do and be less fucking selfish, dude

# ..............people have different opinions of what makes the board good.
now considering that Rob founded the board, i'd leave the final decision to him. we have moderators for a reason, if a post is unnaceptable then it gets removed.

other than that i think we can take it as read that if the board is still here everyday Rob's not too pissed off with it, and that's enough for me.

i'm done now, and given your responses, your going on ignore, not that it really matters.
