# it's all subjective.
I'm a fan of F! myself. However there is no arguing that some circuits are badly designed and make for quite a boring 'race'
I think sport affects people in a different way depending on their psyche.
I play golf and snooker. I'd shoot you if you tried to make me watch it.
I adore MotoGP and WSBK but then I'm a bike nut and my sister works for a race team.
I'm watching the world series ( i watch baseball on five and NASN regularly throughout the season ) again tonight and will be up until 5am every morning for as long as it takes to conclude the 7 game series. Many people, especially Brits might find that mad.
but Basketball, Tennis, Hockey, Swimming Golf, darts, Snooker you can keep them.
Football will always be my first love but no doubt the next poster could be completely opposite.

# snooker i can watch,
baseball I can't stand for the same reasons most people can't stand F1
basketball I'll watch but not pay to see (probably wouldn't go to an F1 race unless I had paddock passes)
will only be interested in footy if Liverpool are playing, or the result directly affects Liverpool (e.g. knockout stages of the champs league) but since uni have started watching games that are on for the sake of it.

any rugby match that's on the telly I'll watch enthusiastically, picture yourself watching Chelsea against Birmingham City and you'll get the picture

# there's obviously something in it
because they can afford the £25k a lap * 25 cars for ~50 laps... so someone's paying a lot to see it, it just doesn't get me going.

Similarly football. I find it hard to get interested. Rugby, Shinty, Hurling, Skateboarding, something where someone can REALLY hurt themselves without the aid of an engine - I'm in.

I think I'd quite like watching lower league football, but I don't do it that much (used to follow Stirling Albion a wee bit)

# I'm odd with rugger too.
I played union at school and as a late teen, league for the local club and I enjoyed it immensely. I absolutely refuse to watch it on TV as it bores me to death. To the point that if the social club in my home town has a rugby match on the large screen ( it's a rugby town , we fight for what gets on the big screen in the main room ) and there are not enough people to argue for whatever football match is on then I'll leave and go to the pub.
Odd, but it takes all sorts.
