Well presumabley they're trying to show how big Africa isbut comparing it to countries is a bit silly IMO, surely they should compare it to other continents?
It's like comparing the size of laptops in terms of mobile phones.

hmm, you could have Austrailiain there, Argentina was an odd inclusion (though I'm surprised by how big it is.)
It could have been done better. But Africa is a huge place, I think Lake victoria is the size of the UK. (though I may have got that bit of information from a pub quiz)
