# Do tell.

# Nothing to tell really...
As the fantastic Dr Mark Kermode said... the Coen bro's seem to do an awesomely epic film followed by a 'kick back and relax' film... Seems to consist of pretty intelligent people playing stupid ugly people + an obscure story line.

As a film of it's own accord it's nothing to sniff about, but I was expecting something a bit more from the Coen brothers, especially considering the cast.

But hey, everyone's allowed a mediocre film.

# How very fair of you.
I'm gonna have to hunt out my VHS of the Big Lebowski now for my evenings entertainment.

# I don't think I've ever actually seen a coen brothers film.
Other than a few sections of O Brother.

EDIT: Actually after looking through their filmography, I've seen Raising Arizona and about ten minutes of Fargo (which despite everyone saying is brilliant I could physically not even vaguely absorb).

# The
Big lebowski is worth seeing. Fecking awesome. And Fargo I thought was also pretty spangtastic. I look eagerly forward to the Coen brothers topping teh big lebowski though =)

On a seperate note, I generally attend any fancy dress party as the dude from the big lebowski, because comprising of pyjama shorts, a tshirt, dressing gown and shades, tis the most awesome and minimal effort costume going.

# Ladykillers was mediocre
But I must admit i loved Burn After. It's not Lebowski, but since Lebowski is IN FACT the awesomest film of all time, what could ever match it?

# right, i wish people would stop judging burn after reading against their earlier work
it's a great movie! it's not laugh out loud funny, it's subversive funny, and, if you want to go there, it's classic Coens: a bunch of flawed people get into a clusterfuck.
