I saw M, and half of MetropolisM was bad as a movie, but sort of interesting as a historical document. It also has Peter Lorre in it a lot, running about and having his anxious, slimy, Peter Lorre face, which compensates. Metropolis ... I keep intending to finish watching because it's supposed to be good, but really, meh. Other suggestions there are all interesting, thanks.
