im doing a zombie but cant make blood - it looks crap and have a source image that needs it to look real...help

running drops, big splashes, what?

Here's what you do. Get a brush pack for photoshop of blood spatters and stuff (google), do several layers in differing shades of red and brown and erase the middles of the darker ones- then layer on top of each other.

# slice your finger open, and drip blood onto some white paper (high GSM stuff), then scan, isolate, and layer.
or, just do as the Cap' says above.
