
Apparently if you have that symptom and you also see sudden flashes of light, you should see an ophthalmologist straight away. I think it's a sign of a detached retina or something.

The vectors were smoothed versions of rough freehand drawings. Then I just broke up the fills and strokes and messed around with the layers. I retouched individual layers near the end of the process to smooth out some of the transitions and to bring out some of the details that I liked.
