# My painter mum just challenged me - at 2 in in the bloody morning! - to 'do' a 'work of art' in less than a minute.
She knows I can't draw, but I'd been taking the piss out of her community art group.

So I dun this with a felt tip on a Kleenex tissue.

Yes, it shut her up.

Yes, I have been playing Okami.

And now I've got to spend the rest of my life telling her no, I really can't draw.

# what the shit you talkin about bro?
i wouldnt vote even if i could. fuck that.

change in our government can only happen by the raising of a black flag and the slitting of throats.

puh-lease.

# It's the same over here, too, I'm afraid.
Although we could do without all that flag business.

And the throat unpleasantness, come to think of it.
(, Mon 3 Nov 2008, 3:37, archived)
# the black flag isn't required, sometimes a sage green one will do nicely.

# probably not its just this dumb quote i read off of my 'naughty cats' calender.

# It's OK.
I don't mind having to draw on tissues.
After all, when I'm round my mum's place, I can have internets, scanners and all sorts.
(, Mon 3 Nov 2008, 3:03, archived)
# that's a benefit?
when i must endure family, i also experience scanners.
(, Mon 3 Nov 2008, 3:13, archived)
# It's a constant, gradual effect, and your link just shows us what it's like sped up.
Like David Attenborough's series about them plants.

i'll check them out.
(, Mon 3 Nov 2008, 3:51, archived)

# woah
the description for rapid sounds sssso so so awesome. i'm now going to hunt for that film.
(, Mon 3 Nov 2008, 4:04, archived)
# it's terrible and wonderful and fun.
i'm posting here and cleaning stuff and have the teevee on in the background - aliens just ended and the usual suspects began. they're cutting all the swearing out of it and it's hilarious. there's a scene with a police lineup where they're all saying "give me the keys you fucking motherfucker!" or something, but due to swearbot it's become "give me the keys, you fairy godmother!"

(, Mon 3 Nov 2008, 4:11, archived)
# hhaha i love that kind of stuff, it in someways can be a big improvement on the film when all the filthy languange is just silly.
(, Mon 3 Nov 2008, 4:16, archived)
# 'fairy godmother' was a nice creative touch.

I killed them all*, so no problem there.
