the blue ray is good, it works well with twonky as a media server... it plays games.

I think I'd prefer to get a decent PC for gaming, and just a BR player for the living room.

with current blue ray dvd players... and allows you to stream music and video from your PC onto your TV over a wireless network.
but yes - if blu ray players were more like £100 then it might be less of a good idea.
