I'd advocate the purchase of a PS3the blue ray is good, it works well with twonky as a media server... it plays games.

it just strikes me that the PS3 is comperable in procewith current blue ray dvd players... and allows you to stream music and video from your PC onto your TV over a wireless network.
but yes - if blu ray players were more like £100 then it might be less of a good idea.
