I kinda understand why maybe it hasn't been chosen,recent times have seen the Prince/Branson escapades, so it could be fear of perhaps going 'too far' with this idea.
I can understand rob et al maybe not want to court controversy or potential legal action, but I wish someone would say rather than
just ignore it because, as you say, it looks like popular votes, voted for by us just aren't getting picked
