I apologise if my replygave you the impression that I was not being pleasant. It was not my intention. I was trying to offer you the reasons why it's frowned upon and how to avoid it.
Considering my considerable anger at the football results earlier I thought I was being extremely polite.
It's very difficult for words to convey actual meaning and if you read my reply with the mindset that I intend to 'shout' at you then it will seem that way.
