I was just expecting a lot more, I think.I thought Casino Royale was quite good, decent twists, and entertaining. I thought Quantum of Solace would be an attempt at being even better.

This may not make any sense. I simply meant that key parts of the scene may or may not be visible for a millisecond or so, which means that if you blink, the scene is over, and you're never quite sure how he won the fight, you just know he did.
