# I watched a documentary called 'Zombie Alligators' the other day
It really wasn't as good as the title suggested.

Your pic, however, gives me teh fear.

in other news my Happy Toast zombie fairy is now on top of my work's Christmas tree. Woo!

# A bunch of alligators in a lake in America
get the shakes, lose the ability to hunt and start to swim upside down and then drown. These are zombie alligators. No mention of dying, coming back to life and eating other alligators. Hence the rather large anticlimax.

After years of research they surmised that old agricultural practices meant a fuck load of, now banned, chemicals were being washed into the lake, when promoted the growth of a type of algae that was suffocating the lake for normal fishies but some other fish thrived. This fish, when eaten by the alligators, greatly depleted the alligator's Thiamine levels which made them go all Altzheimers. Feed them some Thiamine and they all go back to perfect health. But this wasn't a great long term solution and the documentary kinda left it hanging as to whether they're dosing them up with Thiamine or letting nature take it's course.

See. Not as good as the title suggested.

# Damn ...that's a fucking anti-climax indeed
When I read the title I thought of walking Alligators moving like zombies and stuff.

# It's just because their reactions were slower
that they were referred to as zombies.

Lazy labelling from scientist type people!
