# Standard form - put it to vote and people are far more concerned about saving a few quid now rather than the long term effects.
Co-ordination problems and all that economic speak, innit? Although, I do hear tales that Manchester doesn't have a congestion problem. I would've voted 'Yes' given the choice.

EDIT: Woo to picture!

# Don't get me started on the TIF proposal
I am fed up and exhausted from pointing out the positives to all the nobs that voted no.

Urgh. I'm going to bed.

# Most of us understand the positives.
The thing is, the "No" voters:

- Don't think the plans were justified
- Don't think it's fair that drivers should have to pay a third driving-related tax to subsidise a service that they won't use
- Don't trust GMPTE not to almightily fuck up as they usually do
- Don't trust the fact that it was a proposal and therefore open to change
- Don't like the fact that they're pushing more money into the knickers of Stagecoach when they're rolling in money as it is
- Hate those fucking awful adverts with the tenuous "MY BABY WILL DIE OF AIDS IF YOU VOTE NO" statements on them.

I am fed up and exhausted from pointing out those points to all the nobs that voted yes.

# it takes me 20 minutes
to drive 6 miles into Manchester city centre at 8.30am, why should i pay £1200 a year so that the chavs can have more buses to piss in?
