but seriously Brett Lee is out of form. Stuart Clarke is injured. We don't have a decent spinner and two (Hayden and Ponting) of the top order are lose limbs, although I don't think Hayden will be selected and I suspect Ponting will come good soon. Australian cricket is not in good shape and I suspect that will be the scoreline if the poms can hold it together.

all decent scores often made scratchily with a dash of luck, but nothing magical and marvelous, everyone making 30 or 40. I wouldn't say it was of a similar strength of a couple of years ago.
Katich and Haddin made tons against the kiwis, but the only decent bowler they've had on the tour was Vettori.
I think I'll go and read the score cards from the Eng-Ind series...
