# hayden needs to be turned into dog food
and ponting needs to be buggered up the arse until dead.
(, Tue 23 Dec 2008, 11:01, archived)
# That is may as well be,
but it isn't really news is it? Ponting has needed a good shoeing for a long long time! Litlle Cunt!

# the arse came out and blasted his bowling attack and the pitch after the test
I'll admit that the scorecard tells a bit of a sorry tale for his inexperienced bowlers, but that doesn't mention the lack of support he gave them. SA virtually could have knocked off the target by knocking singles with no pressure.

ponting should lose the captancy immediately. only problem is, there's no one that could do it better.

# Genuine question,
having missed the Aus - India tests, and the Aus - SA ones, how bad have Australia been? Have they been bad enough that we may actually win the Ashes?

# england 3-1.

# fucking hell
that's quite an admission coming from an Aussie..

# I know :( im not happy at all about having to make it.
but seriously Brett Lee is out of form. Stuart Clarke is injured. We don't have a decent spinner and two (Hayden and Ponting) of the top order are lose limbs, although I don't think Hayden will be selected and I suspect Ponting will come good soon. Australian cricket is not in good shape and I suspect that will be the scoreline if the poms can hold it together.

# we'll see
your batting lineup is as strong as ever, your problem is bowling.

Ours is the opposite, IMO
(, Tue 23 Dec 2008, 11:17, archived)
# the batting has been carried by the middle and lower order of late.
all decent scores often made scratchily with a dash of luck, but nothing magical and marvelous, everyone making 30 or 40. I wouldn't say it was of a similar strength of a couple of years ago.

Katich and Haddin made tons against the kiwis, but the only decent bowler they've had on the tour was Vettori.

I think I'll go and read the score cards from the Eng-Ind series...
