In Sussex! Crazy stuff. The ice on my garden pond is so thick I can walk on it, and there's still snow on the ground from Monday.

so yes, I did try stand on it... it shifted, but it was supporting my weight, I tried on the other side (its a big pond) and it gave way immediately. Instinctively I pulled my leg up and knee'd the railing thing that's on the bridge bit. IT STILL REALLY HURTS.
