Those lightwieghts are basic to say the least. It might have a heater - if you're lucky. Top speed 65mph-ish.
Also definately wont impress the birds.

who cares about mpg? besides for £300 you can get LPG
and as for parking... easy you can see the back - WHICH is flat!

it's probably got spectacular mileage, although it might eat oil
it's probably got quite a light frame (iirc the bodywork0 is aluminium, maybe)
it's got good visibility and has a smaller footprint than most modern family saloons
and you know no-one is going to fuck with you in traffic

plus when you're in wales... you need one of these to get over the potholes... keep falling in them in my herald (which does about 23mpg!)
edit : plus its 50+ years old, think of how many cars have been made in that time to replace this old workhorse? thats right more than 1! recycling cars is good for shoes and the environment... or something i wasn't really listening
