Personally, I've never tried the New Zealand made marmite,but wikipedia says it's sweet, and British marmite certainly isn't that. I've tried Vegemite once and it tasted pretty much the same as British marmite to me.

when i went to new zealand i noticed the marmitewas way sweeter, it contains sugar, unlike the uk version.
