# is it any better than paintnet?
to be honest i'm really new to this...only learned graphiccy things about 2 months ago, so whereas i'm glad of all the tips, i am merrily exploring what paintnet can do before moving on up

but please all offer your suggestions, they are gratefully received

# don't know but it's better than unfreez for animations.
you can optimise easier, change frame times etc.

# i believe so
although i havent used paint.net for ages.

# gimp's good
i found it a bit tricky to get my head round, but i'd definitely give that free ulead2 gif animator link i sent you yesterday a go, even though it's very limited it's far more flexible than unfreez.

# just do it now
if you're brave enough to post on here you're brave enough to download a freeby software. unfreez appears to be for making avitars and little else, it's pants.
