It might be a bit scruffy, but it certainly isn't a rough area. And you lived near the best stadium in the world! I think the rays of awesome must have damaged your brain somewhat.

I used to live on the street that ran down to The Dell in Southampton.

Never went to the Dell. Went to St Mary's last year and had a good day out, but that was more down to the boozy minibus than Southampton itself. I can't remember much of the place tbh!

two long haired and very hard bikers, both alcoholics, a bedreaded hippy, two dogs and 5 snakes (including a 12 foot python) in the roughest part of aylesbury where a kid got killed in front of about 10 people right outside my house.
But that's probably not as bad as Southampton, although I've never been.
