But lack of cash forced me into whatever I could find.

Now because the company I work for uses such an obscure programming language I am pretty much stuck in the finance/healthcare industry.

"Irrelevant experience" I mean seriously, you tell them what you do and they are really impressed, they then ask what language you work in (Caché ObjectScript) and they look at you like you are a leper.

And I don't fancy working for even less than I am now for 2 years to retrain.
