a manufacturer photo and is cherry. Mine is in Ebisu ( Japanese ) Pine but the same model.

It depends upon your needs.
but no self respecting gamer or graphic designer should be using an LCD unless it's a Samsung and cost £5grand. Because that's the only way you can get near to the quality of a high end CRT.

No, I've been trying with some of my and my girlfriends collegues
So far, I've lost two.
I don't think freecycle operates over here. But we have some similar projects though.
