also it would probably be a lot funnier if Alan could say "fuck" more often.

Has there ever been a funny American sit-com?
I ask you as you are an(if not the) expert in such matters.

I've watched a few episodes now and then.
It's Sheen after all. But it seems that the funny stuff was all
in the first season. Ladder joke was good, and some of the
stuff with the mom can get me to giggle. But overall--a meh.

i think most of the show is just lame ass sex jokes like dildos and boners and dogfucks
and not in a good way

well personally i think that there are a few good shows out there
its debatable if weather or not they could be called "sit-coms" per say but NBC thurdays's are an amazing slice of american comedy television. my name is earl, the office (my fav), and 30 rock. great shows. also as weird and tacky as it may sound i actually really do like seinfeld, fraiser, and newsradio. great shows. some how strangly they are all really funny and clever but tacky all the same. i love tv.

I see. You seem to enjoy the genera(s) more than the individual shows.
That was sort of what I had become to understand in your case from previous discussions.
Thanks.
