i'm asking the missus about this...you're right the best pizza i've ever had was a margarita baked in a proper stone oven. but i judge english pizzas, italian pizzas and american pizzas by entirely different standards.they're impossible to compare

Well this is the tiny southern italian village where my father comes, which has a non-existant tourist industry because it's in the middle of the mountains.So that means the Italians actually eat that shit. I also remember absolutely years back when everyone decided to get massive pizzas instead of cooking that someone ordered one with stilton and tuna on. IN FUCKING ITALY!
Admittedly it was probably actually Gorgonzola and my parents were trying to persuade me to eat by saying it was stilton.
