this is an exceedingly good suggestion and, as such, I endorse it
if you can't find juniper berries use red currants.
Also - anyone anywhere near Edinburgh on a(ny) Saturday should really try and get themselves to the Farmer's Market, at the Lotian Road end there's a wee stall called Fletchers and they sell Venison and bits of venison. It's great - but the best bit is the individual venison pies they sell. NOM!!!

Ive got my order in for fresh shot deer when they do the cull...roast saddle of venison is the best
