Actually, that's a complete lie, I've got two corsets in my drawer at home that I bought last year, but they're certainly not 24 inchers.

As an ex-young man myself,

young men don't notice that young ladies are also retards, because they're too busy trying to get the young ladies' knickers off.

I assume the same is true in reverse.
