getting to do your own finances. That's the least fun bit of it. (or you can sign up with an umbrella/PYE company)
you get fewer benfits, rarely paid holidays (as a freelancer)
but, it's very well paid, you get to meet a lot of people, get to travel about, and the work can be really interesting.

No paperwork
They're self-employed, they do it themselves. They just send you a bill.
It's how I do it, because paperwork makes me go allzzzzzzzz...
