
I used it for a while and it did exactly the same. uTorrent is so much better IMO.

for over a year. It is now the money hungry, commercial Vuse.
Never understood why you'd want a java based torrent client that will just allow java to leech up all your available memory until the system is on its arse.
Utorrent ( or micro torrent to give it its proper name ) all the way. ( but not the beta version as most trackers won't allow betas to connect ).

ive been using azureus ever since i first heard of torrents. Got the 'cut down' one, not that rubbish vuze thing.

can it pick up partial torrents or will i have to wait til azureus finishes all this lot?

as your utorrent download folder in the preferences and then reopen all your torrents in utorrent.
Or alternatively set a new download folder and copy all your azureus downloaded stuff to that folder ( making sure that any appended, unfinished file extensions for both programs is switched off. ( so not xxx.avi.ut! just xxx.avi for example ).
