But it's standard business practise.
everybody sells a piece of themselves in return for growth capital. It's the premise of Dragon's Den.
It does not matter where your investment comes from especially if you can benefit from that investors business know-how and networking.
My only surprise is that it's such a piddling amount I don't really see what it will do for them.

I wish I was given £30 million
despite it being such a piddling amount ;)

Yeah, but still.
Get a few pints and a pie at least out of it ;)

You know what I'd do with 30 million pounds?
Buy a hat for everyone in the world (well however many you can buy when getting hats wholesale).
And force them to wear it at gunpoint if necessary.

Any hats, all the hats of the hat spectrum.
I think mankind can only truly conquer hurdles such as race and religious difference through our mutual love of hats.

I'm fairly ambivalent towards hats.
Does this mean I'm part of the problem and not the solution?

Everyone has the the divine love of hats inside them.
You just haven't looked deep in your heart and opened your scalp up to the love.

I always look stupid in hats,
but maybe I just haven't found my soul-hat yet.

I can't do hats
I had one that I loved, the only hat I've ever felt comfortable wearing, but my lady lost it for me

It is better to have hat and lost, than never to have hat at all.

a gentleman should have a good selection of hats
for his perusal before leaving his abode.

Baseball caps suck donkey nuts!
It's all about the Trilby and Panamas!

I have a trilby
but it looks odd on a construction site.
The good thing about baseball caps and beanies is you can keep them in your pocket so that when you take off your bike helmet or hard hat you can quickly cover up any 'helmet hair' with a hat kept in your pocket. (if you currently are not sporting a shaven head )
I have my DeWalt and Kangol hats for work and my Ducati Corse hats for when out riding.

Helmet Hair?
It isn't your hair that makes you look like a helmet! LOL! ;)

It's not an iPhone is it?
My brother just bought an iPhone, I'm inclined to end him.

No, it's a Sony Erricson c902.
I've heard good things and bad things, but so far it seems perfectly serviceable. It also has a 'ring ring' ringtone, which makes me rather happy.

I've still got a knackers old Sony Ericsson, but then again no-one phones me so it doesn't really matter.
Pretty much it's only purpose is to lob at someone's temples if I ever get mugged.

my phone rings
exactly like an old American landline telephone. Which can be annoying when the phones in Yank TV shows go off.
