So I guess Im resigned to having to order Adobe Fireworks CS4 these days to make animations?
I know i've muttered this ten thousand times, but I simply want to clear this up and order the software tonight; I miss doing thrilling things like this^

use photoshop like everybody else. You just need an old copy of Ulead gif animator if you really can't figure out how to get gifs as layers into tattyshop.
Don't buy anything yet. I'll gaz you with info when I've found some software and seriously don't buy fireworks without using the 30 day trial because you may not like it at all, not one bit. It's nothing like an adobe product.

I've been using it for quite a long time now and don't really want to have to learn tattyshop's versions of everything.

I just wish they'd have a stab at making it fatser. My mac is a beast and it struggles with fireworks. Click and resize ends up in spinny rainbow pizza so often, but photoshop and indesign etc are smooth as butter :S

I simply can't do it, in the old days I used to open a gif in Image ready and save as a .psd file and then move over to Photoshop; it's simply not possible any more. But cheers
