I notice that the final time he says "contrail" in that video he is pointing the camera at a different part of the skywhere there is no contrail, in order to demonstrate that the contrail has disappeared. What's his game? Is he being misleading for fun and profit, or deceiving himself? Maybe the deception is justified by the necessity of getting the message across.
