it's much more like a british comedy sitcom like Black Books or The Mighty Booshthan a dreary safe american one like Friends or New Adventures of Old Christine, much moreso than you'd expect it to be from any promos advertising the show.
I think this is because most of the show is offensive to someone so they only show the really boring bits in the ads.
