folks mighty upset when they started eating
the maidens. Which is what dragons do in the
stories. Yet, when faced with the un-reality of
it, they freaked hard. He backed off a mile after
that sequence. Much to my disgust. I thought
it was perfectly in character for dragons of yore.

There were mentions in other threads and in his request-of-day threads as I recall.Also, I may be painting things broader than was actually stated directly.
And was more making an observation on his themes after that to illustrate
my point about the older darker stories being better than some of the
newer stuff he's made that is tame in comparison to that example. He'd
be able to tell us more there, but we're rarely around/on when he is.
