# Here's something I don't get then
Most people that I speak to have the opinions that seem to correlate with libdem, and when the topic has come up (or watching my friends feed on facebook) so many people were considering or actually voting for them...why are they fourth in this election?

What am I missing?

# the people you speak to are probably of a similar mindset, hence why you speak to them (I'm assuming regularly) as friends/mates, etc.
you probably don't socialise in big circles where other mindsets are more prevalent, with differing political views.
It's also very much down to geography

# I had considered this
but I actually do socialise in very wide circles.

I'm anti-social without discrimination ;)

# Party politics don't really exist these days
everyone has ideals that align with one party or another, the leaders of these parties generally don't share the same ideals.
