You may have a point, but may have missed the main point.
I would rather see it burn down as it has very few redeeming features. Although the seats in the Vue cinema are very comfy....

On one occasion whereby I had the misfortune to cross the land of Blackburn, between the Vauxhaull garage and Morrisons, two smack heads were quite openly shooting up on the pavement by a set of traffic lights that I happened to be waiting at.

I endorse your positive view of Blackburn.
On a brighter note, I did buy a car from Adam Hosker (of Apprentice fame) in Blackburn and he gave me a right good part ex price on my Vectra.
