on the other handthis could cause hollywood to go the opposite route, make films that appeal to the lowest common denominator, to corral as many people into the theatre as possible, thus reducing the quality. I think your conclusion would come true if the Hollywood types had any dignity whatsoever, but that's not exactly a forgone conclusion, now is it :-P
