# Which software
are you using?
(, Sun 23 Mar 2003, 6:18, archived)
# imageready
everytime i enter text and save it
the quality goes bad, the text doesnt blink
im guessing im using the wrong tools?

# If you type the text...
...into a new layer - you can show it or hide it in each individual frame.

Not sure about the quality though - would have to see it.

# hmmm
every time i take the text out of the next frame..it takes it out of every frame

# Don't
actually remove the text layer. Make it non-visible in some frames by selecting those frames and using the "Layers" palette.

# Hmm.
Try entering the text in Photoshop. It shouild come up as a new layer.

Then go back to Imageready to animate it by making the text layer visible in some frames (the eye symbol in the Layers palette", and invisible in others (click the eye to toggle visibility).

# Yeah that's what I said...
...just not as descriptively.

# What he said
only a bit more descriptively.

I once used to write instructions for a living, long ago in a galaxy far away ...

# Could you give me some instructions...
...on writing better instructions?

# I bet someone
has written a book about that.
(, Sun 23 Mar 2003, 6:32, archived)
# I can't remember who posted it...
...but someone did a 'writing books for dummies for dummies' once.

It made me chortle.
