# I think I might...
...have to delete that from my server.

It's going to come back and haunt me again and again if I don't :)
(, Sun 23 Mar 2003, 6:22, archived)
# don't delete
post it next to your pic. Or next to mine (leer)
(, Sun 23 Mar 2003, 6:31, archived)
# If i post it...
...next to my pic, then that suggests something I'm not too comfortable with.

I didn't know you had a pic on your profile now :) to answer your question - add the code width="280" between the web address and the last pointy bracket.

If you dont like the size, try changing the number.

# ...huh?...
help...
(, Sun 23 Mar 2003, 6:37, archived)
# <img src="image address here" width="280">
something like that above.

Sorry - I'm not very good at giving instructions as established below.

# Which software
are you using?
(, Sun 23 Mar 2003, 6:18, archived)
# imageready
everytime i enter text and save it
the quality goes bad, the text doesnt blink
im guessing im using the wrong tools?
(, Sun 23 Mar 2003, 6:22, archived)
# If you type the text...
...into a new layer - you can show it or hide it in each individual frame.

Not sure about the quality though - would have to see it.
(, Sun 23 Mar 2003, 6:24, archived)
# hmmm
every time i take the text out of the next frame..it takes it out of every frame
(, Sun 23 Mar 2003, 6:29, archived)
# Don't
actually remove the text layer. Make it non-visible in some frames by selecting those frames and using the "Layers" palette.
(, Sun 23 Mar 2003, 6:31, archived)
# Hmm.
Try entering the text in Photoshop. It shouild come up as a new layer.

Then go back to Imageready to animate it by making the text layer visible in some frames (the eye symbol in the Layers palette", and invisible in others (click the eye to toggle visibility).

# Yeah that's what I said...
...just not as descriptively.
(, Sun 23 Mar 2003, 6:27, archived)
# What he said
only a bit more descriptively.

I once used to write instructions for a living, long ago in a galaxy far away ...
(, Sun 23 Mar 2003, 6:29, archived)
# Could you give me some instructions...
...on writing better instructions?
(, Sun 23 Mar 2003, 6:30, archived)
# I bet someone
has written a book about that.
(, Sun 23 Mar 2003, 6:32, archived)
# I can't remember who posted it...
...but someone did a 'writing books for dummies for dummies' once.

It made me chortle.
