I used to belong to a rifle club, I also play violent computer games and watch violent movies. I don't feel the urge to go out and stab/shoot people though.

but the killer from the last killing spree here in germany got his guns from his father's closet (they were both members of a shooting club), and do you think they took it as a reason to tighten the firearms laws? Of course not! What would the lobbyists say! But oh, hey, the guy had "Killerspiele" on his PC, they must be responsible, let's ban them all!

Edit: The reasons for someone to go batshit are of course much more complex than that and would require a deep psychological approach, but try to sell that to the papers two days after another shooting. fucking politics.
