no... had my first proper look today, there seem to be some decent possibilitieswant to do something with audiovisual research for some sort of business and at&t might be an option, though it would involve moving to new jersey and I'm not really sure i want to live in america... in fact, I'm mostly sure that I don't.

I don't think so, Florham Park, and Middletown are where the two research centres are...I've only even been to florida. I know nothing about america.

Ah ok.I used to work for a telco whose head office was in Newark and it was horrible. Can't speak for those places though. I wouldn't write it off completely if I were you though. I had a couple of mates who moved to our head office for a couple of years and they had a great time. However, they lived in New York and commuted,
