# very nicely done.

# thank god im on my flappytop
i never would have seen that if i couldnt turn the screen! amazingly subtle and fantabulas!

# im not an owl! ;-)

# Whoa man!
that is cool!

A bar I used to drink in had a cellar with loads of couches and stuff and on the wall they had this massive piece of art which was just reliefed skulls coming out of an almost coal face like board. It was awesome.

# was the bar on Cromwell St?
in a basement?
(, Wed 29 Jul 2009, 22:44, archived)
# Nah,
it was on Leonard Street, near Old Street Tube.
(, Wed 29 Jul 2009, 22:46, archived)
# this brings me to an intriguing, if slightly dark thought...
why the poster showing madeleine's iris? why don't they make a 3D mock-up of what her skull looks like, in case someone finds her? the iris will have rotted away by now, surely.

# Ha ha ha!
You bad, bad man.

Good to have you back Davey ;)

# i was on holiday
and being pissed of with work has had an effect on my creativity. now that I've already quit (in my mind) my complete dissatisfaction with it all doesn't affect me negatively anymore.
(, Wed 29 Jul 2009, 22:56, archived)
# Sweet!
What's the plan when you leave then? Got anything lined up?
(, Wed 29 Jul 2009, 22:58, archived)
# no... had my first proper look today, there seem to be some decent possibilities
want to do something with audiovisual research for some sort of business and at&t might be an option, though it would involve moving to new jersey and I'm not really sure i want to live in america... in fact, I'm mostly sure that I don't.
(, Wed 29 Jul 2009, 23:01, archived)
# Ha ha ha!
Are they one of the telco's based on Broad Street in Newark?

If so, yes, you definitely don't want to work there. The place is a shithole!
(, Wed 29 Jul 2009, 23:05, archived)
# I don't think so, Florham Park, and Middletown are where the two research centres are...
I've only even been to florida. I know nothing about america.
(, Wed 29 Jul 2009, 23:09, archived)
# Ah ok.
I used to work for a telco whose head office was in Newark and it was horrible. Can't speak for those places though. I wouldn't write it off completely if I were you though. I had a couple of mates who moved to our head office for a couple of years and they had a great time. However, they lived in New York and commuted,
(, Wed 29 Jul 2009, 23:13, archived)
# yeh, it seems to be the most suitable job so far and looks rather nice in general so I won't be writing it off soon.
cheers for the advice sush.

# Yeah, it was a pretty ace bar actually.
They used to have a really good Ska DJ in there occasionally. The toilets were a sight to behold too ;)

# It did certainly keep you interested for the few seconds you were pissing.
And it was a very sensible move too when you think about it, they never had to clean the loos because you never would have known....
