
and birds have only really just started to find the feeders I have put up. There's a gang of about 8 great tits that are the most frequent visitors. Other than that so far it's been the magpies and one sighting of a nuthatch on me nuts.
We also have a big wood just about 50 yards away so I'm hopeful more will find us soon. There is a local sparrowhawk family, and a hobby too (which I had to look up).
I dug a pond the first weekend we were there. The garden is already full of frogs and toads, so I reckon the pond will be well used in the spring.
