My good friend reckons the best way for scientists and the like to meet girls at uni (in a non-drunk setting) is to get into the amateur dramatics productions. Thinking about it, I know three people from the sciences who've done that.

although i don't really like amateur dramatics. I could be at a revue tonight instead I'm at home on my own having baked a cake for the maths society tomorrow.
