Ahh a proper butcher

my local rare breeds man is that twat off the telly Jimmy as in Jimmy farm. rubbish meat and so expensive.

try belted galloway for steaks if you can or Dexters that are totally wild on devon moors - taste and texture like no other.

Never eaten the meat, but for some reason I just have a soft spot for the breed. They just look like what I think a cow should look like.

dexters will be smaller joints but tasty

I cant eat Jersey cows as I worked with a jersey herd some time ago...huge brown eyes..sniff...cant eat a friend you know...
nice milk tho and used to drink it unpasturised and warm

I know of one farm about 20 miles from me that does dexter.

I don't buy a lot of beef because my missus isn't keen on it, sadly.
