It's their responsibility to do what is in their country's best interest.There's little benefit to them in pissing off people who are on their side.

That's your perogative.Personally, I'm taking sides with my country, which isn't directly involved. There aren't any goodies and baddies - there's just you and everyone else. But if I absolutely have to take sides, it'll be with the people who speak the same language as me and have a similar (if not identical) culture to me.
