In the past, I'm sure just Mcculloch's would have been an own goal, and the others "deflections" wouldn't they? If the ball is travelling towards goal and is deflected, attacker gets the goal, if the ball is directed at his own goal by a player, then it's an own goal isn't it?
Anyway, shite all round, but I'm not surprised at getting pumped, we're shite. Luckily we're the 12th shitest team in the SPL though.

from watching the Italian football on Channel 4 and earlier than that, that there are a different interpretations of the own goal rule in different countries. And that what you've described was the UK way but in other places any deflection was an own goal.
This may be outdated now and all the rules may be aligned. Not sure.
