# yes. really.
i really did write that.

# And you did that because?

# because
while my heavily pregnant missus was kept waiting on an NHS chair for over an hour, ethnics were getting seen in under ten minutes.

the staff tactfully blamed a 'computer glitch'.

# ethnics, you know...
nick griffin's scared of 'em

# And by the very fact that you're using this term
I guess that you're not over keen.
Everyone is entitled to medical care regardless of race, colour or creed surely?

# Everyone is entitled to medical care regardless of race, colour or creed
that i do agree with. but positive discrimination is a load of racist bollocks.

it may have been a glitch, or not. i don't know. it just seemed wrong at the time. and this is just conjecture, but if a 'glitch' caused an ethnic to get queue-jumped in this manner, trevor phillips would have been slapping everybody with the race relations act and demanding compo for all involved.

# My major issue is with your use of the term "ethnics"
What you really ought to be typing is people, people were seen before your heavily pregnant missus.
Isn't saying ethinics quite a discriminatory term, I've always thought, when it's used in this context, that it's as bad as saying wogs, chinkys,
darkies, pakis, or something akin to that level of ignorant casual racism.
I understand that you might have been upset at not being seen very quickly, but having not long had a baby (well actually it was my girlfriend)
I know that Hospitals can be extremely tedious and irritating places, but there's a lot more going on behind the scenes than you see from the waiting room.

Hope all is well with you and yours anyhow.
Babies are fucking amazing, if tiring beasts, enjoy.

# I'm sorry for your wife. That must have been very distressing and extremely frustrating.
I don't necessarily agree with your implication that there was something racist going on towards you. Or that it was in any way the fault of the the other pregnant ladies who were seen before you though.

EDIT Also hope everything worked out well in the end.

# Now that's a sound, level-headed, human comment.
Right there. An approach that had quite simply not occurred to me. I wish I was nicer :-(
