i had some around 1972 it was pretty basic back then, quite boring realy, nothing like the stuff they have now.

The stuff, now, and all the technic stuff doesn't really interest me. I still play with my late 80s early 90s stuff. I do feel however that I should have graduated onto the kind of things you do by now. But I am too fucking lazy. I built my first Lego galleon when I was 5. However, what I love about Lego is that I can sit down for hours on end with my nephew, who is now 5, and I can be building a realistic house type structure, and he can build a car out of a few bits of lego and some wheels. There's something beautiful in the simplicity :D
